Got to love a bit of Bun Bang Fai. The ramp to mount the rockets is really different from the rope setup I have seen them using in Issan.

I know you've been to this event before. Would you recommend Saturday or Sunday as the best day to go if only one day? What time of day is best? I went to the air show and left disappointed because not very much was happening, only to find out that all of the excitement happened later that day. Thanks Ally.

Hello Amanda, I hope you are keeping well 🙏 This exciting event starts mid morning and goes on into the early evening. It is likely they will follow the trend of the last few years by holding 2 categories of rocket propulsion weight. Saturday would be smaller, Sunday the larger. Each day is a series rounds whereby teams fire off several rockets to gain a place in the next round and that culminates in late afternoon with trophies awarded to winners by the judges 🥳 I would suggest for ease of access people to go mid to late morning. The stage bands perform in late afternoon. If you visit the event anytime between 12:00 through to 16:00 on either day, you are sure to see plenty of action, excitement & people being happy 🥳❤️🇹🇭
