What's really amazing is that the Rhino has a long and heavy trigger pull in DA. Newer models are supposed to be lighter, but this video is nearly a decade old and Jerry said he had the gun in a box for a few years. It's possible he had the trigger worked on and didn't mention it, but I would think he would have. So, if he's pulling a standard, old trigger, then it truly is amazing that he can shoot that fast and accurately with the DA trigger.

So much respect for a guy who is an all-time great at what he does, but has a sense of humor and is secure enough to show that he's human (the ammo box, the thumb burn, etc.). Terrific video.
@TinmanCarnival9 жыл бұрын
The thing that impressed me the most about this video was during the slo-mo. It's unreal how fast Jerry is firing this weapon and yet he still uses perfect trigger pull mechanics. Slow squeezes on the trigger. He is shooting six rounds in 1 second and not a single trigger slap. This guy is the real deal!!!

Glad he mentioned the lower position of the cylinder gap. I never considered that. I love watching him shoot. It's like watching Bruce Lee; you want to go out and train hard, once you see what high levels of skill some people can achieve.

That says something about you as an individual. Tenacity. A lot of people might see The Great Lee Jun Fan doing Kung-Fu and actually be intimidated, immediately tell themselves, "theres no way, I could never do that!!" but your first impulse is to accept the challenge. The Rhino 200DS is my EDC and must say I really like it. Many people shit talk this revolver for it looks but it absolutely does reduce muzzle flip to almost nothing on the .38 and .357 to me feels like it’s in between a .38 and .38+P. I’ve been shooting revolvers for over 30 years and this is one of my most favorite guns to carry oh and my nickel SW model 15 snub. Just my opinion.

Obviously when I go from the rhino to my Model 15 I do adjust grip but really not bad just remember to watch thumb if your the type that holds revolvers in a semi auto grip that thumb will be right at the gas release point of the cylinder. I'll have to do so with my off-hand as well, or I'll end up with muscles in my right hand and arm like yours, Jerry, and none in my left hand and arm! That gun wears me out. I think the trigger pull on it double action is about 35 pounds and I have no idea about the single-action because that's never gonna happen for me in this life! The major plus of the Chiappa is that the impulse is straighter into the hand because it shoots out the bottom cylinder. This means there's no harsh blister inducing torquing of the grip shooting .357 mag. (Anyone who's shot .44 mag knows exactly what I'm talking about). Further, as long as you can find the front sight, the rakish grip angle really won't affect accuracy, as it's otherwise very trim and ergonomic (as opposed to the rakish but bulky Glock grip angle).

Seth Jensen I have the 4" rhino. Yes it does reduce recoil impulse by about 40%. Shooting 38 special feels like you are shooting a .22, shooting .357 magnum feels like shooting 38 special, fwiw. I like it and carry mine alot as my self defene edc.

Nobody seems to get the point of this gun. Putting the barrel low in the frame like that, brings it down closer to being inline with your arm, which will reduce muzzle flip up. Muzzle flip is caused by the barrel being higher than the your hand, or than your shoulder in the case of rifles. This idea should work.
