This is one of the most underrated, under-viewed videos I have ever seen. This is the number one best cover ever performed of this song. ...and my comment, (like this video has) will fall away into the vast sea of millions of others, simply trying to be heard. Lol... easy tiger! Superlatives are fickle mistresses. Check out this cover by Mona Lisa Twins! Having said that, I absolutely love Chiara for her versatility. Multi Instrumentalist, multi linguist and TRUE talent. Her voice too is versatile but more importantly, she can sing, she can sing and is not afraid to sing, like the majority of other young women singers who don't seem to be able to open their mouths - probably afraid their tonsils might fall out. Chiara is the real thing and she doesn't put on any airs! ❤

@@ricklee5845 You are a great orator of words my friend; perhaps I was being a bit over-zealous. I vaguely remember writing this comment months ago, but I was obviously moved lol. I can't put my finger on exactly why, but her performance really touched me in a way that reminded me of when I first heard the song back in 1988. I will add that she is a remarkably talented vocalist who gets to the core of what makes music important to people. There is depth and meaning in her performance.

We are surprised and get excited and perhaps overzealous at times, as we should because we LOVE music, we understand and we can differentiate between music and noise pollution. A final word on 'superlatives'. I have witnessed lengthy debates on which is the best band out of Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and Pink Floyd, which is ridiculous because once you reach a certain echelon, you are simply great, there is no more better or best, you are just different - as it should be. Been doing a little more scrutinizing of this cover and ... I'll just come straight out with it, I think that other guitar is a bit weak, unconvincing and sloppy at times. That's it lol. In my previous response to you I actually wanted to point out Emily Linge to you but to my shame couldn't remember her name 😇 - also I wanted to mention the ups and downs of Sina, the lil drummer girl from Deutschland.Truly weird because I just found a collaboration between those two and Chiara which just blows my mind. It's called Beatles Abbey Road Medley and I found it on a channel called konto1313. One of my playlists is called Covers - it's the song at the bottom. @@ricklee5845 You've given me some homework that I look forward to doing. With me, it's more simplistic but you are clearly "down in the trenches" my friend. Your next-level knowledge and understanding of the craft allows you the ability to detect the underlying subtleties that I tend to overlook. These details are important as I know that every performance, even by the same artists and song can be vastly different. Floyd for instance, had this effect on me. I was never squarely in the camp of one lead or the other...only the particular song/performance mattered to me. Personally, I could never tell you why...but I'll bet you could. This is why I'm certain that I will thoroughly enjoy listening to your recommendations. In fact, I just finished listening to Linge cover The Police. Wow! I have no words.

That’s the first time I had ever heard her. It only took me two lines to know that her voice was exactly what I love. I actually knew you before her because of the Fleetwood Mac collaboration you did with Sina and Jadyn. I have followed both of them for a long time. Anyway all of you are just so incredibly talented, and it makes me feel so good that you go back to the stuff I was rocking out to when I was Emily’s age.
