A lot of great tips in hear. Would love to see more of the business side of things. For example: marketing strategies, bringing new products to market (where you found the rocket stove idea).... How do you ship signs/ heavy bulky items economically? Keep it up!

About the time I had typed the question of software, you suggested a couple of them.... LOL I AM that guy that shows up with a hand drawn picture and asking a shop to cut it out.. I can save money by showing up with the proper file on a flash drive. And be less aggravating to the shop owner, too..

Can you take the cardboard cut out, scan it, create a vector or similar layer file and then use that file to scale and cut to actual size?

How long did it take for the BOS table to repay itself? Does the table come with a (yearly) maintenance contract? As a business you need to be able to set the ROI, how much it cost to maintain (cost per cut hour), and a JD style plasma just does not cut it (pun intended) if you burn lots of sheets.. Would love if you include these kinds of details' in your next videos!

It paid for itself in about 8 months. Keeping in mind you have to find work to keep it running

Have you ever considered a waterjet? They are a little more $$ at the outset. However If you are consistently cutting things at less than 1 inch, there is almost 0 distortion in the cut. Depending on the machine settings. Unlike a plasma table. Where you still have to clean the part after cutting. Then you still have the plate itself distorts via the heat. The waterjet keeps the plate cool at all times. I've personally used OMAX and FLOJET machines. I have never had to send parts back to be re-machined from either. The only thing you might have to do is remove a couple of edge burrs. These machines are also self contained, except for needing an external air source. No other input required. OMAX and FLOJET will walk you through the initial setup and routine maintenance.

Water tables are great. Just out of our budget for a small shop.
