I do like your rocket stoves. I have made quite a few. Most guys want it for camping so it is the 4 inch models I make. I have dampers in my stoves and a special scaping tool to remove ash. I have not had any trouble with the paint, I use high temp manifold paint which is used to heating and cooling. 1200 degree to 2200 degrees.

Soo many good points . I made my first one with $40 of steel and 2 hrs of time. I cooked 3 meals for a family of 4 with a 5 gal buck of sticks less than size of my thumb .

I have a different model of a rocket stove. The big advantage of rocket stoves is that they’re super efficient. You can boil a five gallon pot of water with just a few sticks an inch or two in diameter and a few feet long.

I just heard your in LA. My family comes from the Stanley area. I graduated HS in Ferriday, worked for Penrod outta Cameron, lived in Eunice for a while. And pulled a couple of semester at NLU. Of course that was in the 70's. Off grid in AZ now. Take care

Hey folks, I just love that you too have a such an awesome time there with the family and business. I was wondering since I will buy a small rocket 1612 stove at the end of the month but I was wondering if you all will put something a little extra on the side for me since I am a retired US Army vet fron 23 years active duty and I was just wondering if you can put a small logo on the side of the pipe stating " Those who gave the most cannot receive the least." Thanks. I was just wondering if it is possible, thanks again keep up the great work!

Unless you have a shop like this and some serious welding skills you are NOT making these stoves at home. Nice shop, welding fixture table, and excellent video.

@@ryanfreeman125 you don’t need a big shop, fancy welding table or “ serious welding skills “to build something like this. If you can lay down a halfassed bead you could build this thing. Might not be as pretty but it will work.
