So if I had a Clown Wig, Clown Nose, and Clown Makeup... I'd put it on for this video. Horikoshi-sensei the author of My Hero Academia literally made us look like clowns. He pulled the ultimate Uno Reverse Card on us in the upcoming MHA Chapter 336. Also my video from earlier this week has aged poorly. Seriously I'm happy to take a Big L on something like this. Shouldn't have doubted Horikoshi-sensei!

It’s basically the whole “if they don’t die on screen, doubt people saying that they’re dead” rule. Last chapter confirmed that there’s a traitor, there’s no room for doubt there. But, we only saw Toru, and nothing confirmed her being the traitor. A lot like season 1 of Young Justice. Three different people were sketchy as hell, but the mole was the person nobody saw coming.

I will keep saying this over and over again until it's heard. Before MHA started serialization, Horikoshi revealed each Class 1A character one by one, each day on Twitter, from most important to least important. Aoyama and Toru were revealed before Ochako and Todoroki. Remember this.

Well I was wrong, and pretty glade too. Aoyama had good development in past chapters, and has shown to be heroic when push comes to shove. So seeing him put in a position to choose family or friends, is a really interesting situation.

Aoyama be breaking the fourth wall in most of the episodes. That, and his low-key yet high-key observation moments for Uraraka and Deku are always played off as a funny gag so that can be used to flip back on us any time Horikoshi wants to reveal it.

I have seen my hero academia by the anime that was recommended to me, I got attached to this series that I decided to read the manga, getting into the manga was an amazing experience and I do not regret meeting this series, and finally I understand that I admired Horikoshi and I'm happy of giving him the benefit of the doubt, because now we all know this man can be unpredictable sometimes

I commented in the 335 video that the only way to salvage this is to make a twist like "Hagakura isn't the traitor but she saw who it was", even though I said that and had a feeling that could happen (cuz they wrote "the traitor is Hagakura!?"which sounded really not definitive), I didn't actually expect that to happen or wite it out in a way to defend MHA, cuz I just became so pesstimitic after being let down so many times by manga anime and games in general this year. I think it's just all the recent let downs that made everyone feel like ïf it looks bad, it's probably going to be worse" lol. When it actually happened, I'm so happy and surprised. I was one of the few that actually liked the idea and was ok with Toru being the traitor but also wait until story progressed. Chibi, don't you remember a video you made long time ago to the MHA community to calm down during the Eri incident when people was upset about the reveal of her quirk and told them to trust Hori and his writing. Now look years later and you lashed out and didn't wait for further story progression.

I know this is a year late but I gotta say that I 100% agree with the statement of “waiting till the story progresses”. Here’s one thing I’ll talk about below this comment incase nobody has read the recent chapters on the final arc. *SPOILERS* This also goes back into play when it comes to certain parts into the story people were complaining about. Three things for example. 1, people saying how the culture festival was filler and won’t comeback into play later on, suprise Gentle and La Brava get their redemption with incredible writing. 2, people complaining about All for one being the “main villain” of the story and kicking Shigaraki to the side. One person even called AFO “the parasite to the story of MHA” just for months later and Shigaraki overcomes his master and takes his body back. These 2 examples are reasons why people should wait for story progression before throwing in the torches and pitch forks. My 3rd point would be the controversial Bakugou death and revival part. Like many other times in the story, we should wait for story progression, cause we don’t know what will happen. Maybe Bakugou lives throughout the story or maybe he’ll die and give into his injuries after the war’s finished. Overall moral of the story is…wait for further story progression or you may end up looking like a clown…like the traitor reveal that happened a year ago.

While I still think that the final act has been a bit of a mixed bag for me, I can’t deny that Horikoshi did well with that bait and switch. From Deku being unrealistically back to normal and a traitor that while not horrible wasn’t executed properly, to a traitor that makes more sense development and narrative wise and Deku realizing that his pain and trauma are lingering and far from over. This has to be the point where we get to see the devastation come to pass, and this is just the tip of the iceberg
