Whoa! Those pots are all over the place. The tolerance on the new ones is actually good, so within +/- 10% of the pot value is kind of ideal. You have +50% on the B500k pots, I guess having the extra taper for volume isn't too bad. Really enjoyed the videos, I'm thinking of adding one of these to the collection, but can't decide between this Budokan or the blue/silver burst one!

Also, Musiclily pots from Amazon are good upgrades, and they're also inexpensive!

Yes, there are a lot of good cheap options out there. But if you are thinking of putting them on your favourite guitar you’d best measure them first. The first thing to get lost when producing low cost electronics seems to be consistency. On a LP I prefere pots over 500k up to about 550k. Thanks for watching and good luck on choosing guitar!

I think Fleor pickups sound great. Compared to the Duncan equivalent.

Their "Hotrail" humbuckers sound better than the Duncan Distortion pickup. But they have rails so they don't match but I ended up trading my vintage Distortion to a Tool fan for a $400 Gibson pickup set. And I don't miss the Distortion at all. There is also a video on here that compares the two. But I can't link it.

I saw an interview with Ace and he said he disconnects all the pickups except the bridge pickup. Lol. Why he wants a 3 pickup guitar is weird. I think 2 pickup LPs look better.

Yes, I’ve heard that as well. I guess he just like the looks of a 3 pup guitar. I think either can look good, but it depends on what guitar.
