The individual in question was born and raised in this Western culture country, influenced by misguided ideologies. He doesn't have a strong connection with his faith or adherence to Sharia law or Islamic culture; otherwise, he wouldn't be involved in selling liquor, which is prohibited in Islam. The Quran says 1-:” O believers! Intoxicants, gambling, idols, and drawing lots for decisions1 are all evil of Satan’s handiwork. So shun them so you may be successful”. if he was Muslim, would not kill his family, Islam strongly prohibited killing lives, Quran said: 1-“That was why We laid it down for the Children of Israel that whoever killed a human being-except as a punishment for murder or for spreading corruption in the land- shall be regarded as having killed all mankind, and that whoever saved a human life shall be regarded as having saved all mankind. Our messengers came to them with clear signs, but many of them continued to commit excesses in the land”. 2-: “ His lower self persuaded him to kill his brother, and he killed him and he became one of the lost”. 3- “Do not take a ˹human˺ life-made sacred by Allah-except with ˹legal˺ right.1 If anyone is killed unjustly, We have given their heirs2 the authority, but do not let them exceed limits in retaliation,3 for they are already supported ˹by law˺.” These are just a few verses from a lot that sacred the human being live, furthermore Quran goes beyond that, it prohibited killing birds and animals for the purposes of sport. he was detached from his the real culture that advocate to respect women whether wife, daughter, sister. The Quran said : 1-“ Your Lord has commanded that you should worship none but Him, and show kindness to your parents. If either or both of them attain old age with you, say no word of contempt to them and do not rebuke them, but always speak gently to them” 2-” and treat them with humility and tenderness and say, ‘Lord, be merciful to them both, as they raised me up when I was little.” 3- “and to be kind to my mother. He has not made me arrogant or defiant.” There are more verses addressing these issues, but my post is already long. It was necessary to make it longer to clarify misconceptions about true Muslims. Every person has a limit, and this guy went beyond that limit, losing his mind and tragically killing his innocent family. Regardless of the reasons, it's absolutely wrong. I hope these words prompt reflection and address the issue of biased judgments in our culture. My intention is not to offend but to provide an honest critique and analysis of this harmful social and cultural phenomenon. I apologize if my words were harsh.

Numerous verses state unequivocally that the killing of one innocent soul is akin to killing the entire humankind, and saving one innocent soul is equivalent to saving all of humankind. Blaming the Prophet for such practices, it’s baseless accusation. This reminds me of the husband who killed his two daughters because the one was dating. He didn't approve. They escaped with their mom, but somehow she was in contact with him and the mom drove them all back. Dad killed the two girls and then escaped out of the country for many years before being caught. Horrifying.

@@proTruthforall I have spent 15 years studying honour crimes and the differences between how different countries react to these very specific crimes. So my question was not a hasty judgement it was based on the very little information on the broadcast. He murdered his wife and 3 daughters for not being "respectful" but left his son who was present alive. And being that clearly based on the head coverings, they are members of a culture, (not race-not religion) that this specific type of crime exists, and it often supported in. The evidence that this is indeed an honour crime, would be evident to anyone who has an interest in the subject of stopping honour crime.
