The hawks doing away with this as the intro video has to be one of the most absurdly dumb things a sports organization has ever done. Been to a lot of crazy sporting events and nothing even remotely touches the intensity level reached when the lights dropped before 2008-10 Hawks playoff games and this video played. Always seemed like they turned the volume up a couple notches for the playoffs too. Place was in a frenzy by the end of it. I remember before Flames game 1 in 2009, first playoff game in a long while, the end of this video was practically drowned out by an organic Lets Go Hawks chant with the whole place already full. Those who were there back then know--it'll be tough for anything to ever touch those days.
