Looks like Tsonga and Ndebele dance. I think the Vendas also dance the same but Vendas and Baganda are basically the same people but then Vendas are basically the rest of South African tribes. Great!

Kyoji, this is a great video! I am a board member of Children of Uganda and we are gathering video footage. Would it be possible to connect with you and perhaps get some of this footage? Email talitha at childrenofuganda dot org if so - thanks!

If you know authentic traditional dances of Uganda, you definitely find this offensive. I hope we soon realise that it is great to keep to our true roots.

Most trainers of these dances are time bound, i think that is why try to come up with one skit which combines all the 56 tribes of Uganda which leaves the foreigners watching a bit puzzled. I don`t think this is helping expose individual cultures but rather mix and confuse them up. The energy is good in all Ugandan dances but to me is a confusion in presentation.

These are not proper musical performance. The first introduction song is started in the middle. (Namaru, Namaru kauti Naujira.. Eringombe) from the Luo of Kenya and the Jambo song is a welcome song from Kenya.
