I have been a cubs fan for as long i can remember.... I know Trevor Bauer isn't on anyone's list but he's the best back up plan out there.... Why isn't any of the so-called experts speaking about how he fits with what the Cubs are trying to do... And im sure he would sign a prove it deal with a club option for a second yr and a player option for a 3rd year... With a 5mn buy out after yr 2

another dumb move. He has had two years in the last 9 where he made 28 or 30 starts and 3 years where his ERA has been good. Other than that, 9, 15, 18, 10 starts a year is what you get with him. For 25 Million I think not.
