I’m not sure what I’m watching and I’m not sure who this guy is with an EJ chain but I’m noticing when he talks about others and talks about the children, he lights up and has a lot to say positive. When he talks about himself, he just quickly answers it without boasting. Respect to him and prayers of blessings your way 💖🙏💖.

I grew up a few blocks from “ The Square”. I went to a private school and my Mom would tear me apart if she knew I was hanging out there sometimes hanging with the boys who lived there. They treated me like a lil sister. This was in the 80’s at the peak of the beginning of the downfall of that project. Some good young men lived there, but became a product of their environment. Seeing this doc brought back so many memories. We moved to the west suburbs in the early 90’s , but I would still go back with a few of my suburban girls and pass em off to my “ Square brothers”. lol

I’m from the East Coast and all we see and hear about on YT is Southside of Chicago. I like seeing these videos of the Westside. Is it me, or do ppl from Westside have thicker accents lol and I feel like Chicago sounds like Mississippi alil bit lol
@rononillmodeАй бұрын
Alot of Southern folk moved to Chicago during the depression, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama etc. usually where it stems from. And u are correct, west side has more of a deeper dialect then the rest of the city...

Lord said Johnny come across, we played that growing up. It start off as 1 person trying to stop the other people from making it to the other side as you get tagged you help that person tag who ever left, at the end it be 10 people trying to tag one person before they make it to the other side.that shit helped people learn to Juke people out and it translated to the football field.
