Mate, it wasn't cancelled for faking anything. The Jeremy Kyle Show was cancelled by ITV in September 2019 following the death of a guest. Dymond died of a morphine overdose a week after a failing a lie detector test whilst questioned about an alleged extramarital affair.

I used to love this show. If i was off school sick or had a day off in college (uk college, i went from ages 16-19), i would plonk myself down in the front room if my dad was in work at 9:25am and watch this while eating breakfast and the usual run to the bathroom and back during ad break haha until we got sky tv that you could pause which was such a treat

They didn't fake the results. Its that sometimes the test results came back as inconclusive and the producers just said "say that they lied". Behind stage, the staff would spend ages trying to get the guests riled up. A lot of dodgy stuff went on

The staff backstage didn't need to get them riled up, they gave all guest a free bar at the hotel the night before and let them come record the next day still half drunk. The amount of people who appeared on Jeremy Kyle that are dead now is a higher percentage than the people alive lol.

I worked with someone who had been on there so she claimed, it was in a work team building exercise where we were talking about biggest regrets, she said hers was going on the jk show. I never saw the episode sadly, and there were far too many of them to find it so I will take her word for it, but she was a pretty normal girl perhaps a touch rough around the edges but you know, real!
