The invoices do NOT show the wages paid to the employees. They show the billing rate that the staffing company charges its customer for each hour the employees work. The billing rate is revenue to the staffing company. Then the staffing company pays each employee their wage rate which is usually only a small fraction of what the staffing company billed its customer. The wage rate is NEVER even close to the billing rate. The workers on these invoices aren't the ones laughing all the way to the bank. The owners of the staffing company are laughing. I shake my head at the stupidity of some these journalists who are incapable of verifying information and then report as though they know it all.

BUT, the owners of a staffing company make a LOT of money by the sheer number of billable workers on their payroll who are doing work for the staffing company's customers.
