Robert Lamm is an exceptionally talented songwriter. He's had so many favorite songs from the 60's & 70's and he still knows how to write hot songs to this day. I love this song. My favorite Chicago songs are mostly, Robert's songs. Love Walt's saxophone at the end. I said in another comment from another video that 2016 was a good year ...I really think 2014 was even better. Walt is still playing and I always loved watching him jam on the sax.

Good for these guys !! So happy they've returned in such an exciting, relevant way ! How inspiring that most of these guys are in their 70's and can definitely show today's pop players really how it's done, even if their sound isn't everyone's cup of tea. I have loved Chicago since their beginnings ( I'm a young 50 ), and for them to sound so good now after going past David Foster, Cetera, and Champlin is a true testament to their resolve, and that sticking to your style and continually reinventing yourself is the key to lasting success and musical happiness. Congratulations to the "new" Chicago and this wonderful new album ! I'll be buying it !

This song has been "in the oven" for some 15 years or so as Robert Lamm shared this song title among others he was working on at the time (many of which arrived on his "Subtlety & Passion" solo cd) ~ One thing that strikes me during the chorus is the similar chord progression & rhythm/tempo here to "All The Years" (also written by RL) from Chicago's 1994 album "Stone Of Sisyphus"=> makes me want to sing THAT chorus too!

Robert, Robert, Robert! What the heck? Talking about a late bloomer! I can't help but laugh! I know, OR I'm not quite sure u didn't plan it-- but it's like u stood in the background on purpose and let Terry Shine, Peter Shine, ):Bill Shine, Jason Shine, and a couple of the newer guys shine; And the greatest muscians ever shine, who are often overlooked in most bands. And u just stayed in the background writing, editing, producing, and arranging all of these wonderful songs, while and letting others get the accalades, spotlight, credit, etc...! U sacrificed your personal preferences for the sake of the whole, called **THE BAND**!!! And then after 50 YRS, U step up at 70 and do what no other guy I know of has ever done! Like Jesus Christ, U save heaven for last!! In my opinion, U save your best writing, arranging, video producing; editing; organizing; reinventing; passion; performance; MCing; and more than all your gift of singing; till possibly your last album!!! Like John Elway, and Peyton Manning saved their best game for the last game-- and shined like the stars with an unforgettable appearance, and strutt off the field a victorious champion! Sealing your legacy as not only everything else that could be accomplished in the greatest, most talented and longest running act of any band touring ever! WoW!!! What a way to leave!!! But u saved your ace of spades till the last great run ever- U sang your ass off on this project bro! And this doesn't include looking 40 at the age of 70 and still having ladies drueling over you, nor does it include all the lives u touched and gave a little hope too,, and said with your final performance- ”NOW IS THE TIME!!!" FOR ME TO SHOW U WHAT I COULD HAVE DONE ALL ALONG!!! But because of the other huge egos in the band; u didn't recent them; but u understood that the greater the talent, the greater the egos! Somebody had to do all the intangible things behind the scenes that make all music great, and somebody had to take one for the team- U were that man! **AND MORE WILL BE REVEALED**, JUST WAIT! I'M 70 YES, BUT THE BEST IS YET TO COME!!! IF I DIDN'T KNOW ANY BETTER, I WOULD ALMOST BELIEVE U PLANNED IT THAT WAY! AND FOR THOSE THAT ASSUMED U HAD THE BIGGEST EGO AND QUESTIONABLE FIERY ATTITUDE-- ON THIS ALBUM, AS POSSIBLY YOUR FINAL PROJECT--"U ROBERT LAMB, "SHUT THEM UP!!!" HOW COULD ANY 1 THINK THAT WHEN U CHOSE TO STAY IN THE BACKGROUND, AND MAYBE, PEOPLE JUST WANTED U BACK THERE, OR; THEY DIDNT LOOK QUITE CLOSE ENOUGH AT THE REAL "MR CHICAGO" FROM 1-36 AND BEYOND. AS THE LEGACY WILL GO ON NOW BECUZ OF YOUR OWN UNSELFISHNESS!!! U WROTE YOUR OWN LEGACY, U WENT OUT YOUR WAY, AND U DID IT WITH STYLE AND THE UTMOST CLASS!!! AND EVEN AFTER U WALK OFF THE STAGE THE LAST TIME, NOT ONLY WILL YOUR LEGACY BE REVEALED-- BUT THIS AWESOME BAND CAN CONTINUE TO EVOLVE AND MAKE THE GREATEST AND MOST TIMELESS MUSIC EVER! TRULY, AS U SING," "MORE WILL BE REVEALED-!!!" GOD BLESS YOU! AND KNOW THAT U TOUCHED MANY PEOPLE! YES, EVEN A PASTOR SINCE I WAS 4 YRS OLD IN 1970, I REMEMBER MY OLDEST BROTHER WHOS NOW 64 PLAYING 25, 6 TO 4! A LOT OF PASTORS ARE YOURS AND THE BANDS BIGGEST FANS! WHO KNOWS, "THAT COULD MEAN THAT EVEN JESUS WAS A CHICAGO FAN! WHY NOT? HIS MESSAGE WAS YOUR MESSAGE-*LOVE*!!! AND " *NOW* IS THE TIME TO SHARE IT! ---1 OF YOUR GREATEST FANS AT 49! BE BLESSED!!! Robert Lamm has always been one of my favorite singers and songwriters in Chicago. He sure has created a big chunk of Chicago's most well loved songs. Our songleaders in Pop Warner football during the 70's used 25 or 6 to 4 for their routine. I would say he's always had it. Yet , I know he didn't have the confidence like Cetera and Terry Kath when it came to singing. I like his voice very much.
