I’m from Chicago and absolutely love this show. It’s cool cause it’s all filmed around town. Like that is my actual station I go to for work. I also saw them filming the new Batman movie there too, they covered the station name to say Rucka and Vine and the Harold Washington Library was change to Gotham City Public Library

Chicago is the best city backdrop for a movie, including sci-fi. Chicago was in I, Robot, Transformers, Electric Dreams....

That's so cool honestly. I'm from England and I know they also filmed parts of the new batman movie in liverpool,UK as it gives a gothic vibe. And I went to liverpool last year and just watched the movie and can really tell which buildings are from liverpool in the movie. Chicago is cool though because a lot of movies and tv shows are based there. I think dark knight has to be up there for me when it comes to chicago as a backdrop. The chase between batman and the joker in the streets is epic in the chi town streets (even though they did make a movie error and not cover up building names so you can actually it see it say chicago in the background of the movie lol)

Okay, I live here in Chicago. And the first train they got on on the platform was the Yellow Line and it was on the LaSalle/Van Vuren platform down in the Loop (downtown). Then suddenly, they exited from the Pink Line but I couldn't tell which platform. The trick to all that is that the Yellow Line don't even go downtown at all. It only runs up in the far North suburbs. And then Ruzek picks up the chase on a platform that was nowhere near downtown and looks like the Brown Line (North side). I couldn't tell exactly which one from the surroundings since the scene moved too quickly. Otherwise, great scene! lol 😆👍 if you ain't from Chicago, you ain't gonna catch all that. lol 🤣

The yellow line would NEVER go downtown. So why is it in this scene??? They could've just as easily used a green line, purple line, brown line, orange line, and maybe even the red line on occasion.

I’m guessing it was for filming purposes. They can’t really shut down the CTA completely. If they used like the Brown Line or the Orange Line people would think it was an actual train approaching their station
