And you seem to be under the impression that most Americans like to eat tough, tasteless shoe leather. Your 1970s beliefs about meat are quite a bit outdated. Beef is perfectly safe to eat rare. Pork is perfectly safe to eat when it's still a bit pink. So, you are implying my comment about your lack of education was false, and yet that massive blob of text above makes a number of extremely false statements. Firstly, yes, your statement does does indeed imply well done and over done. Why? Because those burgers were over cooked to medium - medium well already and you flat out said they weren't cooked thoroughly. Cooking them any more would just result in them being even more over cooked.... and the only degree of doneness past medium well, is well done.
