I think the owner of Evanston Chicken Shack owned a Harold's Chicken Shack franchise in Evanston back in the 1980's but it closed down. He then opened the Evanston Chicken Shack as an independent restaurant. I think both Harold's and this restaurant are awesome, but apparently not all Harold's Chicken Shack franchises are equal.
