I like how it's not like typical Chicago Pizza where they put all the cheese on the bottom and then just overlap it with way too much sauce and it feels like you're not even really eating a pizza you're just eating a big hollowed-out piece of a bread with a bunch of sauce in it. In my eyes it's very close to New York Pizza where they have the sauce on the bottom the cheese on the top and top it all off all the toppings, and to me that's how East Coast Pizza should be period.

Well you'll be glad to know that thin crusts like in this video sell way more than deep dish on a daily basis out here in Chicagoland and if you make it out here, there are plenty of thin crust options! The reason you see the Chicago Style Deep Dish on TV more often is only because it is pretty unique to this region. The Chicago Style Deep dish is for special occasions- usually for showing of town guests!!! Lifelong Chicagoland resident here and I honestly cant remember last time I had deep dish -but I tend to eat healthy most the time. However I did literally have pizza last night and it was most certainly thin crust!!
