@@marauderjingo Um, have you ever had Harley before? FXRT was the original police bikes, probably the best of Harley's fleet ever built. Back when it was new and a custom paint ordered, that was easily close to the 100,000. Carbon Fiber wheels like that go for 2-4K each. Custom paint runs 20-30K not including and chrome or gold plating done

Does ceramic coating do well on lacquer paint? I have numerous older Cadillac's in my collection with lacquer paint. To me the lacquer paint looks better than newer 2 stage paint using clear coat. My '84 Fleetwood with a brown firemist lacquer paint looks better than my '89 with a sable brown firemist paint with clear coat. .

WHOA! First 2 me... I.M.H.O. No Way 100K! My relationship with my last bike was more of a 75/25 hate to do, when it came to cleaning the bike. Loved when it looked good! Butt... get'n started, continuing, finishing was RUFF! I wouldn't touch detailing that bike! UR a Brave Man! (Maybe a bit nutty?) The bike is certainly Not In Clean Shape! Good Luck! J

Even rain has salts plus contamination in it, unless you use 0ppm they are protecting the customers investment as you would expect from quality service.
