Thomas definitely seems like a commanding presence which is what you want in a coach. On a separate thought it used to be that young and rookie QBs would either sit for several games or if playing it was understood that while they’re learning interceptions are gonna happen. In other words the mindset was more about development than winning. I just wonder if Caleb really made quick reactions and let loose while yes you’d have some INTs but also it might really let his mind open up to the game and pay dividends in the long run. Just playing so careful as a newcomer but I guess that’s the way they do it now.

I understand the Bears wanted a playcaller with established playcalling experience in the NFL and Thomas brown had only limited amounts... But it truly blows my mind to the highest degree that they interviewed Shane and Thomas and left those interviews thinking "ok. Shane is definitely our guy." It honestly makes me question our coach, our GM, and the rest of our front office like never before in their ability to make judgement calls on not only coaching merit but on hiring someone who can demand a room. Like wtf lmao Thomas brown sounds like an absolute dawg and makes me wanna run through a wall. They fucked up so bad 😂 the crazy part is... I bet they knew Thomas is the better candidate but Flus ended up choosing nerdy ass, goofball Shane bc he wouldn't feel threatened by him to potentially steal his job down the line. I swear bro this franchise is so fucking poverty. Make the pain stop 😂

Dude, you may have lied in your life before but... you're not lying now! Unbelievable but... hey, maybe not so! See, you know that how we interview along with nepotism, cronyism etc. (his agent is same as Flux et al.) carries more weight than anything.

I'm with you on that. Maybe they also looked at how Geno Smith did and thought he could do that here.

@@rchi808 yeah except if they did any digging they would know that Dave Canales was more behind that than Waldron. And that was also a veteran who had been in the league for ages. Not a rookie that needs direction with his footwork to reach his full potential.

Brown give me a firm voice kinda guy. He look like he say what he gotta say not what they want to hear. Sometimes we need a firm hard attitude to get it together. He gives me Mike Tomlin vibes

Thomas Brown sounds a lot like a head coach. If the offense continues to move in a positive direction, the front office may have an internal candidate to consider for the HC job.
