@@mikelasjo6507 very true indeed. But, if anything can be said, it's about his approach to that dumpster fire and disaster this team has been for too long. He's the 1st GM to use the #1 pick since 1947. Though he passed on the 1st #1 pick he had. He seems to be putting together a team, through drafts and trades that has some longevity. Something that hasn't been seen at least in my lifetime which is 50 years. Even our 85-86 bears were 1 and done. I'm a die-hard like many. We haven't seen longevity since before the merger. The problem I see is if this season is a complete flop. Heads will roll again and we're back to square 1. At this point, it's a make the playoffs or bust season even before the draft.

Poles already stated after the draft he thought he might need to trade up for Rome, but Ian told him to wait as it was playing out like they wanted. They got the guy they had at #2 on their board and as Poles says in the video to Warren "and we still have our 1 and 2 2s next year".

As a NY Giants fan, I came over to watch what the Bears had to say about Odunze and enjoyed this video. Odunze was who I was really hoping we'd take for our pick as I think he was the best option for our needs as well as having the maturity to deal with the NY/NJ media.
