@@BearsNCigars I disagree with that. Look at what Stroud did for the Texans. Took a 4 win team to the 2nd round of the playoffs. Stroud threw for over 4,000 yards in his first season. Did you see the competitive levels of the packers and lions in the playoffs last season? Bears were nowhere near that level of play. Until the bears prove they can consistently win and actually make the playoffs its foolish to expect anything but mediocrity

I don’t disagree we need to get better but I just don’t think the qb is the glaring issue its line play inconsistency with the line different players weekly the scheme was terrible having Mooney or Scott trying to block linebackers and edges instead of chipping with a tight end or rb. Justin isn’t perfect and he has some blame but he’s not the main issue here and we draft a qb with only 4 more picks in draft they already setting that kid up for failure. And this is Flus make or break yr I don’t think he’s gonna hang his hat on a rookie qb the media is in love with. It will be business as usual they draft a qb. Finish the rebuild then if they feel JF isn’t the guy when his contract is up go get a qb either in draft Fa or trade. We were competitive in every game except KC and that’s when our DC was still here and Packers first game i think was pretty bad I can’t remember but the rest we were in every game but coaches and defense let us down but people jus blame the qb…

If he really wants to keep that under wraps, he probably wishes he hadn't said that, but unless a person is extremely guarded and careful, when you do a lot of interviews sooner or later you're going to let something slip.
