I've never been stuck in a hospital before so I'm curious, if I didn't want a family member in the room with me if I were hospitalized, would I be able to request for somebody else to come in, I'd honestly rather have a friend in the room so we could actually talk without a fight breaking out than having a family member, the only family member I don't get into constant fight with is my Nana and aunt and my aunt has a learning difficulty thingy (brain no workie) and my Nana is really old, she may look like she's only 51 but apparently she's in her 70's so, I wouldn't want her worrying too much by seeing me in a hospital bed
