20:39 You could even say Kirito's jabs are... something witty.

It really nothing happened under that tree. Kirito is an asshole, not a creep or a R-pist.

It was kinda wild to me that even in the actual show they didn't want to kite the boss to a town because "killing npcs felt weird" even if they could come back and I was just staring at them like they weren't playing a literal life and death game. Also, if memory serves. "The Kirito is Always Right Foundation" was SWEs patron name at the time of this coming out. And yes they absolutely make Kirito an ass in this parody. In the actual show he's generally well meaning.

I think in the original SAO Kirito stood guard over sleeping Asuna because it was a known exploit to move asleep people's hands to open trade windows and steal their items. Not sure why he felt safe falling asleep there himself though.
@wessltov3 күн бұрын
If I'm not mistaken, the exploit was used for more nefarious purposes, like duels to the death
@LucianDevineКүн бұрын
I think he felt safe because he's...him, and maybe didn't expect to fall asleep. Then, when he woke up next to her, he couldn't justify leaving her there alone. so he kept watch until she woke up. Maybe he also felt safe, because his hands were behind his head. So it would be harder for somebody to manipulate his hands without waking him up.

in the anime, nothing hapened when she slept, he just stood guard

She still made it weird, but I chalk that up to the writer being a bit of a creep

@@wessltov ya'll reading into things. In the real show he stood there to protect her, and she "made it weird" because she woke up in a non-safe zone and he could have killed her or stolen things off her or manipulated her inventory or made her do something similar to the games where they force a duel etc.
@dodiswatchboboboКүн бұрын
She was like “thank you for looking after me while I sleep because weirdos are moving sleeping people’s fingers to accept duel requests and then they murder them.” Kirito didn’t know he was protecting her. He was just sitting there watching her sleep.

One of the faster ways to level up your alchemy in video games is just eat the ingredients and find out all their effects. It's risky cuz you could get a harming effect that poisons you. Sometimes it's extra gross with giant's toes and human hearts like in Skyrim.

The abridged show made Kirito act how he is, because in the show he is bland AF and has a savior complex. He's slightly less bland in regards to Asuna, but that's in an unbelievably mature sense, given that he's supposed to be 15. In the abridged show, he's an insecure and arrogant jerk who delights in verbally abusing everyone, which is exactly how you would expect a 15 year old playing a video game, especially when he is better at a game than everybody else. It's exactly like Klein said and he said to Klein. "I bet you get beat up a lot in real life." "Shut up! Here I have power!"
@ChicagoReactsКүн бұрын
that is definitely a lot more fun
@LucianDevine14 сағат бұрын
@@ChicagoReacts It REALLY is! The real show also had them not feel the pain of the attacks they get hit by, which is also less fun. Compare that to here. "Ah, correction, he's suffering. The town's a safe zone. Probably hurts like a B, but he's not gonna die in here."

Pay attention to how Asuna reacts to Kirito killing Gary

In the show itself if they could control the movements of body, they could make you open the menu and either make you disrobe yourself or make you accept a duel to the death in a safe zone.

Yeah, SAOA Kirito is definitely a dick, but he's also 15 and has way more character than in the anime and I appreciate that. Asuna too now that I think about it...
