I love how Asuna clearly isn't racist out of hate, but instead just complete and total ignorance of how racist she is, with no-one feeling comfortable enough to point out how racist she's being, presumably for fear she might make it worse trying to overcorrect.

Even deeper than that, in the Abridged she’s a full blown psychopath, and it seems like she just doesn’t know how to mask that fact around Tiff and Lizbeth. She can’t hide it around Lizbeth because she doesn’t want her making moves on Kirito, and she can’t around Tiff because she legitimately doesn’t know how to treat other races like normal people. The facade has also began to fall around Kirito, but it’s because abridged Kirito is a Sociopath who is similar to her on some very fundamental levels and that allows her to open up and connect to someone.

Those two have been the most consistently popular male and female characters in Japan since 2011. They've only recently been removed from the top 10 rankings altogether. Regarding Tiffany. The name is actually a reference to the original where it was said that he won against his wife the right to play first on their shared console, but had to use her account. So "Tiffany" was stuck in the game with the respective account name.

I personally disagree, that there is Humor in the CC is definitely 100% true but when watching it for the first time you also remove a lot of Humor. You read stuff before its said and the delivery on those Lines is Just way to good to Ruin it by knowing what is being said. As much as I would agree, for reactions this usually isn't a good idea. Because it splits the attention. The worst one is when someone convinces people to watch Fate Stay Night: UBW Abridged with Canadian subs. Most people have trouble following them and it detracts from reaction.

I'm saying this as my personal experience: When I first watched it I only enabled the CCs past EP 10 or something like that I was laughing so dang hard that I didn't hear so many jokes that I only caught on a second viewing On the eps after I started using them I caught most if not all the jokes, plus a bunch I'd never catch if not for the little helps or tidbits the CC have But for a viewer trying to get the most of a first viewing, I always tell my friends to see with CC and none of them said they felt like they were loosing out so far, plus I usually think that reactors, even more the ones used to live streaming, have no problem following the listening and written side of things without losing out much Obviously it will be a personal choice at the end of the day, and that's where I'll leave my argument

a LOT of people missed the joke of grand wizard Asuna. one of the high positions in the organization know for using a letter 3 times as their abbreviation is called a grand wizard. a lot of American don't know this as the U.S. government goes out of their way to make sure kids don't learn about this trouble organization. I thought my friend was messing with me when he told me the position title, I didn't believe him cause what organization would be taken seriously with a title like that. I recently learned that the title above that is called dragon.

Look man I don't want to have to defend the US public education system but they do teach about the KKK in school. They aren't just legally required to but its mentioned in various tests students have to pass so the school gets funding. On top of that its mentioned the school history books throughout the entirety of American history post Civil War. Furthermore depictions of them are replete in our media and all of them are varying degrees of horrible and atrocious. Just because pent up teenagers don't want to learn about history because its "boring"* and "not gonna matter in our every day life"* doesn't mean it wasn't taught. its just teenagers didn't bother to remember because they were focusing on football, getting laid, and drama.

The us government doesnt go out of its way, it also doesnt go into the structure of the organization, we get as much info about the kkk internal stucture as we do the natzi party, most peoples knowledge ends at "evil racist organization", some may go into how it started or common practices (fear tactics, murder, burning cross, ect). Theres a lot of stuff we dont learn in school, but there isnt some conspiracy coverup going on, another factor is the organization hasnt been promenant (outside of being a joke) since before the 90s so after most youtube watchers were born When it comes to school teaching about it, it varries from school to school but so does student attention span, most people i went to school with (both rural and inner city) forget everything they learned before the next year starts

Asuna is more or less confirmed to be a sociopath, she only puts on a face with everyone she meets to hide it. The problem is that she has never been exposed to black people saved through like movies, so she ends up putting on metaphorical blackface. It’s a racism that is out of ignorance and not hate, so while it is super uncomfortable and needs correcting, it at least *is* correctable.
