I'll let you in on a not so secret "secret". Those brands who "worked so hard" on their "original" fragrances are absolutely not giving a crap about you. So little do they care about us that if you knew what it costs to make your average high quality fragrance (on average $6 for a 100ml bottle and that includes the price of a world renowned perfumer to come up with the actual scent) compared to the disgustingly inflated retail price they charge, you'd understand why Middle Eastern brands can afford to make high quality fragrances, with great performance in high quality (usually) packaging. They're still making a killing on each bottle. Designer and Niche companies know that perfumery is #1 in cost to retail markup...in 1988 The LA Times did an article about how a $100 bottle of perfume only cost the company about $1.50 to make. AND THAT WAS 1988. It's so much worse now!! So, please, don't say how unethical clones are. We all know who's REALLY UNETHICAL. 😳

I have khair and affection by lattafa. Khair is much closer to the kayali version with the freshness . Affection by lattafa is a creamier lactonic version of the kayali. I prefer the khair one for spring and summer and can go ham because it's cheaper. Affection is still in perfume jail waiting for fall to use her. Good video.

Yeah I have affection from lattafa too and it’s amazingly spot on to kayali imo. Idk about you but I had to let mine sit and macerate for a few weeks. And OMG it’s the most delicious marshmallow sweet pistacho now! It’s amazingggg! And lasts forever. Chi chi gurllll, you will love affection!

I just spent a nice coin on Kayali so yeah I’m testing a few scents. The Yum pistachio is my lease favorite. It’s something about how all Kayali fragrance smell better layered. The scent reminds me of soap from a hotel. It’s not bad it’s just….I’m glad I bought my own. I might try the middle eastern version simply because I’m loving their fragrances as of lately. They project have longevity and fit my pockets. Thanks for the suggestion

The soapy scent from Yum Pistachio is most likely from the Lily of the valley and aldehydes note which is not present in Khair. Very often if you see Lily of the valley in a fragrance, it's going to have a 🧼 smell

I think upon spraying both they smell similar. when you really compare them the khair is a more fresh take on kayali. I find kayali is more creamy more whipped cream to my nose. However it’s a really good dupe tho. My only gripe with kayali fragrances is in the beginning when you 1st get them the longevity sucks. It only gets better when you let them macerate. Cause after 3 months the kayali got really strong and I find that to be with all her fragrances.

Nah, I fell for all the influencers saying how good Pistachio Khair by Paris Corner is and I packed it right back up in the box to take to UPS to return. It STANK like bathroom cleaner and chemicals. Not at all gourmand or sweet or yummy. I let it sit on my skin for hours to let it settle and all it did was give me a headache. Terrible. Avoid at all costs if you want something sweet and dessert-like. It is NOT that.
