Just a little tip because you have children in the kitchen sometimes when you are cooking. Make sure the handles on the pot and pans are turned away from where someone walks. My friends son ran through the kitchen hit the pot handle while clowning and was burned very bad.Hope I’m explaining it ok and makes sense.
@Banyo__4 ай бұрын
Agreed. One of my dad's friends kids was being babysat and in just a split second, the young boy tipped an entire pot of boiling water down his face and chest. The burns were so bad, that even though he got hospital care, he didn't survive. It's just a haunting reminder that all it takes is a quick second and disaster. I am forever paranoid when my nephews are bouncing about that they must stay away. I try to cook on the back burners as well, so the front ones are cold.

That’s the first thing we learned cooking at home at Class and nobody pays attention to it and I watch all the time with handles sticking out on these shows when they’re cooking and they got kids running all around and there’s handles sticking out. It scares the fire out of me.

Make your own pimento cheese. It is so easy. Shred your own cheese 1/2 block of Velveeta cheese and 1/2 block of medium sharp cheddar cheese. I jar of pimentoes, 8 oz cream cheese, 1/4 tsp of each..garlic powder, onion powder and cayenne pepper and 2 TBSP of mayo. If you want heat add 1 jalapeno pepper. Mix together and let set in fridge for about an hour. Best thing in the world. I am from Tennessee. This is so very good. What you don’t eat put in a covered dish and put in fridge it will last for about a week. But it will be eaten long before the week is up.

One other note I was badly burned by bacon grease and I not thinking, immediately stuck it under cold water but that was the worst thing I could do because it caused the grease to solidify on my skin keeping the heat in and continuing the the burn. If you have grease or oil spill on you wash it off immediately with warm soapy water, get the grease off once it’s completely free of grease you can then ice it or put it under cold water my arm had that burning feeling for 72 hours and I had 2nd degree burns.

Tristan, don't mean to do a 10 each time you cook so I'll give you a 9 1/2 only because you didn't make any fries ha ha... The chicken was just a tad to dark/crispy for me and other than that perfect (oh NO PICKLE) nasty buggers. I like how you dried the pickles to keep the juice from soaking into the bun or meat. One last thing, I appreciate you tell us why to cut something this way or that. There is a lot that know it sure but there is even a lot more who don't. So just like with saying pepper burning and the different tips you leave us with is just so worth watching you for. Love Chick fil A so going to have to give your method a try. Thank You.

Great video. To be a fair comparison, the home cooked meal should have been boxed and bag and then left for the same amount of time it took to bring the takeaway home . Interesting, if this was done, would it have been the same result. Home cooked is always cheaper and better. Takeaway, you are paying for the convenience . From start to finish, how long did they home made take including the marinating
