Hi Cath I make all my own soups in one of the pressure cookers that puts the sh..s up you. Have done for 52 years, wouldn't be without it , saves so much fuel. I always put fresh parsley in my soups. Good for you. Us oldies know how to cook good nourishing food.😊

Thanks for that, Iv been talking about buying one of these pots since my slow cooker popped it’s clogs a few months ago… and you’ve made it look very easy to use. It reminded me of my Mum making scotch broth many moons ago, I especially loved the pearl barley. When I get me pot, I’ll have a go following your delicious looking recipe and let you know how it turns out. I love barley. Never made with chicken, usually beef, but looks tasty indeed. Have turkey broth from boiling the carcass from our Thanksgiving dinner. Nobody does that but me. My instantpot has become a kitchen fave. As a nearly 67 yr old single woman, i love simplicity just for myself.

Supposed to have physio round Tuesday Thursday Saturday but didn't TURN UP tried ringing but was holding over an hour with NO REPLY. The rubber is called a gasket, and every third use oil it with your favorite cooking oil. Doing this will prevent your gasket from drying out.

Love your stories and your cooling videos. The electric pot that you use looks a very handy bit of kit! Just wondered if you would recommend them and what price range they are in. They look much easier to use than a pressure cooker and much quicker than the slow cooker😊x

My slow cooker makes the whole house smell like school dinners for days and after a very unfortunate incident many years ago trying to makie a rice pudding in an early pressure cooker I've always been slightly wary of them.( I accidentally fastened the weights on tightly and after a while the little metal safety button shot out followed by the pudding😳x

Yes but you would have to pour boiling water on , put on hight for 1 hour or 2 then low 5/6 hours be better in pan on stove, once boiled hour and hale on simmer taste the barky if cooked x

Hi and good afternoon Many thanks on this video . I make mine the same but use ham also. I normally make mine the day before so it’s even thicker. I use a slow cooker to do mine but each to their own. I have e done it in the pressure cooker before. I usually buy crusty rolls to use with it. Hi skelly,can you tell me how to remove the cooking smell from the lid please ,something like yours ,and does,nt matter how long we steep the lid ,or wash the lid ,the cooking smell will not go ,we scrub the rubber ring around the lid, but no joy ,so any hints will be appreciated, glad to hear your grandaughters doing g well ,John and your self ,😊😊😊

I have taken for 6/7 years now vitamins D, ( called the sunshine pill), zinc, and Biotin for my hair loss,the last 2 only had for last 15 months x I'm not sure if post office would let you leave a parcel for safety reasons. But it is nice thought. Thank you x

I wanted to tell you the last time that I saw you when you and your friends went to you called it black pool you're out at a party or club having a cocktails and some fun with your friends and you are wearing a white comfortable sleeveless shirt and I'm telling you it's a girl after my own if I go out and I'm drinking and singing and dancing and having a good time with my friends I have got to be cool cuz I get very overheated I guess that's from a lifetime of living in Maine USA it might as well be Alaska but that's okay we can always heat up we can't always cool down
