I am a 69 year old woman business owner. I keep my business small and simple. My health is excellent no meds. I have a vegetable and fruit garden that I maintain myself and I eat healthy. I don't eat dairy, gluten, soy, red meat and very little processed foods. Jesus is rock and my fortress. In him I will trust. Being outdoors and working in my garden each day keeps me healthy. I have a work at home business so I am able to multi task. I enjoyed your peaceful camping setup. One day I will do this.

Same here… 69, eventually want a van and originally planned to sell all and travel full time… but after following so many full time RV’ers on KZbin, the trend seems to be in getting a home base for gardening, having a place to park that’s always going to be there when needed, etc. So I thought “hey, I have that _now_ .“ 😅 So I’m going to go with part time.

This video was perfect. Gave me ideas to work with my van for camping without having to do a complete build out. I mostly camp where there are bears year round and that makes me terrified to cook in my van. They could rip right through it if they thought they could get food. I take my dog with me and that helps. Great ideas on insulation.im small like you so the cot would be just fine. I need some education on batteries. One thing i have to have is hot water for tea or coffee. I once lived in a Tee Pee for the winter in Jackson Hole , Wyoming, so very connected to nature, as you are Mai. Happy Camping! ❤

Hi. I love your videos. They are so relaxing and are making me want to camp in the Winter. Unfortunately in Vermont I’ve only found one camp site with power but is not open in the winter. All the rest are State Parks that don’t offer electricity. On the issue of health, I am almost 79 years old and have never taken pharma drugs. My doctor wanted me at one point to take statins, but after doing the research on them, I decided not to. For the last 7 years I have been on what I call a Ketovore diet, as is my husband. We eat only Whole Foods. As another person mentioned that includes no sugars, grains and seed oils. There are many sites online about the Keto and Carnivore way of eating. I wish you all the best and thank you for sharing your wonderful trips.

Hi, I have a food warmer like yours, and I use the little aluminum loaf pans to heat/warm up my food in it or for hubby to use for lunch. No cleanup. You can also prep your food in the pan and just put it in the warmer when you're ready to eat.. Just wanted to give some helpful advice. 😊 Great video!!!! Soothing!

I just turned 72 and finished building out my 1987 Peugeot J9 and started travelling part time. I keep my appartment as home base as the rent is very reasonable. I enjoy the freedom of travelling and exploring new places. Neing fit and healthy is a plus by eating mostly fresh and raw veggies and fruit, seldom any meat. I encourage older folks to enjoy this beautiful planet, outdoors as much as possible!

Mai I've always enjoyed the content of your videos that in many ways does resonate with me, especially when I seek peace of mind. I find it in the solitude of my bedroom, although your escapes do appear more peaceful, I don't have that luxury because I don't have the same kind of strength in my legs. I totally agree with burnout and nature is the perfect remedy for that. There was a period in my life when I got burn-out so badly whenever I was on the plane I literally glued my face onto the window just to stare at the clouds or tiny islands. Or rode up the mountains to stare at the greens becuz it helped soothe my tired, chaotic mind. Good to know you live by the beautiful mountains! Thanks for taking us along car camping with you. One tip..get your fridge out of the "danger zone" of 40-140° before you put food in it. Plug it in and get it cold then stock with your foods. Food poisoning while camping is a less than enjoyable experience and can turn life-threatening pretty quick when by yourself. Beautiful setup and that shaggy blanket is 🥰 !!!

Before I go on a camping trip I plug my frig into my Jackery and that into my house electricity to get it cold. When I’m ready to go, I unplug it from the house electricity and take the frig and Jackery out to the car. It saves your Jackery or other power source, from using the extra power to cool it down when you first get to camp.

You’re video made me homesick, I’m from southwest Calgary, but live in bc now. When you started driving the roads looked so clean and I instantly thought hey that looks so much like Calgary, I miss how clean that city is. Then you reached the large 4 way in Bragg Creek with the cabin like gas station, and thought hey that looks super familiar and then you went to elbow falls and i instantly knew it. SW Calgary was my home for 15 years. I visited, but because we sold our house it just wasn’t the same.. anyways, enough emotions, thanks so much for your video !!!! I’m subscribing ! 🎉❤
