Reminds me of My Beautiful Mother's Chicken and Dumplings I used to sit in the kitchen while she cooked that's how I learned , I mis her everyday covid 19 took her away April 24th 2020 at 1am .

Tobias, you are absolutely correct that people don't cook like that anymore; however, I still do. There is nothing better than a hearty chicken and dumplings stew. I just made it. It was delicious, and I went to sleep after eating a bowl of it.

I never ate nor cared for Chicken & Dumplings but yours, I know, I would love. That looked like a beautiful round biscuit, not doughy, it almost looked like it had a flake to it on the inside. I also love the half and half idea, I do not like sauce that is too thick, this was perfection.

I use bone in and skin on Chicken to make my broth. Usually drumsticks and thighs. I pull the skin off but i like the chicken parts whole in it like a gumbo. 🤲🏾🤲🏾🤲🏾🤲🏾🤲🏾🤲🏾🤲🏾
