Chicken Cashew - Thai style! Our recipe!

Cashew chicken is a delicious dish often served in Chinese restaurants and takeaways. This is also a favorite for us and in the end you can also prepare it at home with the help of a few simple ingredients.

INGREDIENTS
To marinate the chicken:
400 gr chicken fillet buns
some salt from the mill
some pepper from the mill
1 tsp five spice powder
3 tsp cornstarch
1 egg white
The vegetables :
1 piece of small onion
1/2 piece of red bell pepper
1/2 piece of orange bell pepper
2 pieces of red chili pepper
2 spring onions
3 cloves of garlic
50 gr cashew nuts (grilled and salted)
1 tbsp peanut oil
For the chicken cashew sauce:
2 tbsp palm sugar
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sweet soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp black pepper sauce (LEE KUM KEE)
2 tsp cornstarch
1 tbsp white (wine) vinegar
120 ml chicken stock
For the fried rice :
2 eggs
1 egg yolk (the egg white for your chicken)
300 gr steamed rice (chilled from the fridge)
some salt
5 drops of sesame oil
1 tbsp peanut oil
To prepare the Chicken Cashew:
peanut oil
Optional :
some chili powder
