Those old men are not Ripping them off imo with tha pay 1 dollar/ hour, I think they are paying what they made 40 years ago which was pretty good in their time, they just don't know it

That’s still ripping them off lmfao clearly what the farmers get paid for there product is more then what they got paid for 40 years ago...so obviously the wage for working goes up as well

The joke is while, yes, it does actually take place in 2004, the whole town is figuratively stuck in the 1980s.

I used to work on an egg farm in Arkansas about five years ago. The pay was $40 a day from 7am to 2pm 6 days a week. Perks of the job...all the eggs you could eat!

i caught chickens as a kid (1991), moving them from the barn to the truck. break time = a donut, 3 hrs work equalled $7.46.

I have to agree, I love this movie, but Dale's part about the Shoshone arrowheads is by far the funniest part. I've watched it over, and over, and It's plain, but I end up laughing harder every time. It's extremely comedic bc it breaks the ice, or yolk. I appreciate his parts in the movie, and hope You and Your fam are ok. Sorry to hear about his passing. He reminds me of some of the farmer guys I met in Arkansas growing up
@YouTubeNinja1122 Жыл бұрын
That wasn't even part of the script he wasn't supposed to say anything, the cameras just happened to be rolling when Dale said that becuase he actually found arrowheads near the film location
