Already 25 years. I remember you as a scruffy headed boy running around 90 miles an hour. I'm thinking, he's a crazy. But brilliant. You've had my attention from the beginning. From you cooking in your garden to cooking for your friends to now sharing your family Christmas with us. Here's to another 25 years. 🥂🍾🍾

Thanks Jamie - watched this whilst having my lunch and planning what to have for tea. Made chicken in a bag with butter beans, garlic, chilli and cherry tomatoes, served with roasted jersey royals and tender stem broccoli.. it was delicious! Even my 10 year old finished his plate!! X

It warms my heart to see you celebrating 25 years of the naked chef. I remember watching this show on the Food Network when they were aired every once in a while late at night. Then being hooked on Oliver’s twist. As a young man, you made me believe that I could be a chef too thanks for filling your dream and making me able to dare to dream. In My book you’re one of the greatest chefs I ever learned from. Thanks for everything Jamie and congratulations and enjoy.🎉👏🏾💙✌🏾🎂🎊🥳

We learnt this in the boy scouts during the mid 90's. How to make a parcel, put it on the engine of car. Needed heavy duty foil and potatoes. Beans and spinach would have gone to nothing or burnt black. And, once you got to your destination, you had your dinner ready. All root vegetables do really well in this.😅

I learned to cook with your books. Before I met you my signature dish was Nagasaki Chicken . King of Puddings. Man your home made pasta. Jethro Tart - now that was a recipe of note. and I can believe that I have been watching you for 25 years - I have a giggle each time I start to cook & 2 things happen - kettle on & colander in the sink. oh wow your Forerib of Beef - can't remember which book that was in but that was a great crowd-pleaser. And I am sooooo going to cook some of these up over our summer - I used to do the fish version often & I can imaging the chicken using deboned thighs with some smooshed chickpeas.

When I was young, ripe tomatoes were sold cheap as frying tomatoes. This seems perfect for making things ahead for the family. My grandchildren are so fussy about veg and won’t eat the same thing. Now they don’t have to.

Something that has bothered me for awhile now. If we don't cook with aluminum pans, why should we cook with aluminum foil? I thought cooking with aluminum was unhealthy. I just want to know if there is a difference. It's a great idea, and couldn't it be put on parchment paper first, and us the foil to seal it?
@J61-y4h4 ай бұрын
I always wondered that too. Once I spent a ton of time buying safe pans yet the wife puts the A foil down. WTH women?? But maybe the pans are aluminum clad where it can wear off and into the food vs the foil which is just a sheet of it? Need to research this.

I love the creativeness and cleverness and I can almost smell and taste it as I watch. But we are a bit more aware now than we were 25 years ago of the dirty business that is bauxite mining. Can you Jamie not please invent something reusable made of a more sustainably sourced material?
