Lydia this is a fantastic recipe. I have made it many times after seeing you make it on TV. It is my son’s favorite meal when he comes home at Christmas. It knocked my spaghetti and meatballs out of 1st place after more than 30 years as his favorite recipe. That says a lot!

Will definitely try this recipe. It reminds me of a dish that my grandmother Zito used to make. Her recipe was lost after her passing. Thank you Lidia!

One thing I would have done different is browning the chicken in batches - I think Lidia didn't have time to show that process, so she had to rush the process, but it really does make a difference. Regardless, thank you for showing this wonderful recipe!

Looks delicious. I might bring it to the table in the Le creuset. The expensive, fancy cookware that is a true workhorse in the kitchen.

The le Creuset is redundant 😆 the the crucible is what it translates to. Other than that, yes that is a good plan! I love mine as well and serving from it

This Chicken in Sweet and Sour Vinegar Sauce recipe looks so delicious 😋 Chef Lidia.

Made this today. Mine seemed to have much more liquid than Lidia's and as a result, the vegetables didn't get the browning I wanted. Breast was also dry... I strained the veggies and threw them on a cookie sheet at 450 until they were caramelized. Reduced the sauce and then served it all with some white rice. DELICIOUS! Next time I will skip the breast. The dark meat was so much better but this is a winning recipe for sure. We also make her sausage and chicken with apple cider vinegar pretty regularly and it is so good! If you haven't tried that one, look it up!

I’ll bet that chicken cost close to $30. Free range $$$$ + extra large $$$$!
