Hate to be that guy, but that was well above parallel. The hardest part of a squat is at the bottom, so squatting above parallel makes it way easier- you can’t really call this a squat. A partial squat puts way more stress on the knees so it could be the cause of your knee pain. Also, your torso seems to vertical for your low bar position. Try breaking at the hips, pushing your knees out, and hitting depth.

Loved this vlog, Dylan!! Your videos balance the line between being well edited and high-quality, while still feeling "real" and not so overly-edited that it loses all sense of genuine connection like so many KZbinrs these days. Awesome video man, keep it up! And congrats on a 405 squat, that's crazy!! Super inspiring! :D

Hey Dylan I was interested to hear that u have had trouble growing your legs, instead of working more on heavy squats or even just squats in general try and work on more of a machine based workout. While squats is a good exercise for leg growth, machines like leg press and hack squat are much better machines. Focus on time under tension and really going til failure if u try these exercises and I promise u your legs will grow. Also focusing on really hitting depth and getting that stretch in the quads at the bottom will be so beneficial. Forgot to add that also leg press and hack squat are more forgiving on the joints opposed to squats.

The best part about this video without watching the whole thing yet, is this is very relieving to see a proper squat rack somebody can have a normal accident on everyone can laugh about. That was very crazy and very quick with the india bodybuilder. just fell, one slip and knocked his head off nearly, i watched that fall over and over. it felt a little sick a minute just cause i couldn't help but see that again and again just how quick and unexpected it was. they both fell back, the spotter that failed, it was so quick and smooth you can tell for flash second , he thought for a second he might be helping him back up, didn't even understand when it happened yet even tho he just watched it. this would have been the sense-full rack to be using. and i now, everyone has something to say and i'm probably the lest anyone would want any advice at all from lol can't really help it

Dude I am 86lbs at 5ft 11 and classed as skinny fat. How did you get the extra 100lbs on you. I’m in the gym 5 days a week and have been for 2 weeks now and each session we work on a different part of the body. Like arms Monday, back and neck Tuesday leg’s Wednesday, chest and stomach Thursday, cardio Friday and yeh I say 2 weeks and I feel as weak as anything 😔

@sttrategic
@sttrategic Жыл бұрын
bro? 86 pounds at 5 11 is like sickly. Typo or are you sure?? That’s not good. Also get his program. Because it honestly is very good at focusing on hypertorphy but with a heavy focus on strength training with heavy weights. That’s what will force your body to add to its frame and adapt. But NONE of that is even remotely possible if you aren’t eating. Eating is number 1 and it’s not even close. You have to be eating in a calorie surplus or you will not add weight and will not grow. If anything you’ll be doing more damage because you probably aren’t getting enough protein, carbs, or fats , especially if you actually are in the gym 5 days a week. You won’t get stronger or progress each week which is needed to get bigger. So please, if you listen to anything. Track your calories and EAT. I’m the same height and was skinny, aim for 3200 calories as a good number and get your body used to eating all the extra calories. You can increase by 100-200 if you aren’t gaining weight each week. But you need to track how much you’re eating so you actually can measure and make adjustments. If you don’t then you aren’t serious and you WILL stay skinny. It’s the hard truth. But it can be done, just be consistent brother.
