Okay, this is literally the BEST fried chicken ever. No joke. It is so so crunchy on the outside, without being hard or tough, and the inside is really juicy and tender. It is absolutely AMAZING! I seriously recommend this recipe, it’s the best fried chicken in the world. If you don’t have fermented tofu or potato starch, I recommend you try to buy it somewhere as it will make the most delicious crunchy chicken ever!
I love how you explain the purpose of each ingredient and each step. Very educational and it allows me to understand why certain ingredients are used and why certain steps are important. Thanks!

Thank you for the recipe! I love how you put measurements in cups and teaspoons as it makes your recipe easier to follow! I tried this recipe and it was very good. But I found that the popcorn chicken was rather dry. Is there any way to fix that?

What sort of chicken did you use? If you used chicken breast, it will probably be rather dry, especially if cooked too long. Use chicken thighs with the skin on, it makes such a juicy and delicious popcorn chicken!
