I’ve been cooking this for the past three weeks and everyone is in awe of it. An amazingly tasty curry. One friend even messaged me and asked, “please tell me that you’ll do that curry again….?” Thanks Latif.

I've made a few of Latif's curries and they've all been great but this one was really delicious. I had to order garlic pickle from Amazon as my local shops don't stock it so I had to wait until today to make this dish but I'm so glad I did. The kids loved it too. Just cooked this and have to say the best curry I’ve ever cooked or eaten including takeaways and it has that authentic takeaway taste. I did make the base gravy but didn’t do the purée or garlic and ginger paste just improvised but turned out great just the same thanks for the recipe awesome. Ps use shallots instead of onions as I had a load leftover from a different recipe and bonus easier to chop !

Made this last sunday, but substituted the garlic pickle for lime pickle as asda dont stock it. Its was a nice compliment to the curry but just 1 tsp to the 2 tsp i put in. Will get some before hand next time i make it. One of the best Currys ive made so far.
