I had to watch the penultimate sequence in this vid a second time because I had a hard time seeing through the tears of laughter the first time. I think that Selmar's and especially Stephanie's reprise of the running style of the "Flying Dutchman" in the "Great Chicken Chase of 2021" should be duly noted in the historical archives of Lalande. Hey Stephanie: If you reverse the swing of the door in the china pantry, the light switch will be behind the door. I'd suggest you put a sensor on the light so when someone enters, the light comes on automatically.

I was laughing so hard at the chicken chase. I had to do that once with one of our chickens. Its turned in to family affair including our German Shepherd trying to help but in the end the chicken outsmarted us all. I also am in love with Andy's artwork. I love her style!!!

The French, Dutch and English don't celebrate the 4th of July. This was Stephanie's American friend who lives near Lalande. Each country have their own National Day. France has Bastille Day on the 14th of July. I can't wait for Lalande to celebrate it.
