This Chicken thali contains spicy chicken sukka and chicken curry made up by Maharashtrian style. Very spicy but very yummy.
Ingredients to matrinate chicken
1) ½ curd
2) ½ lemon juice
3) ½ tsp turmeric powder
4) 1 tsp red chilli powder
5) 1 tsp cumin seeds powder
6) 1 tsp coriander powder
7) ½ tsp black pepper powder
8) 1 tsp salt
9) ½ garam masala
Ingredients to make ‘chicken sukka’:
1) 2 tbsp ghee or oil
2) 2 sprig curry leaves
3) ½ onion, finely chopped
4) ½ tomato finely chopped
5) ½ tsp turmeric powder
6) 1.5 tsp red chili powder
7) 2-3 tbsp kanda lasun masala
8) 1 tsp salt
9) Fresh coriander, finely chopped
Ingredients to make ‘chicken curry’:
1) 2 tbsp oil
2) 1 onion, finely chopped
3) ½ tomato finely chopped
4) ½ tsp turmeric powder
5) 1.5 tsp red chilli powder
6) 2-3 tbsp kanda lasun masala
7) 1 tsp salt
To make masala paste:
1) ½ cup dry coconut
2) 1 no. star anise
3) 1 inch cinnamon
4) 12-15nos., whole black pepper
5) 5-6 nos., cloves
6) 2 nos., dry red chillies
7) 1 tbsp, coriander seeds
8) 1 tsp, jeera
9) 3 nos., bay leaves
10) Handful, fresh coriander
11) mint leaves
12) 2 nos., onion, slices
13) 5-6 garlic cloves
14) 1 inch ginger
15) 1-2 tsp white sesame seeds
16) 2 tbsp oil
To make anda masala:
1) 2 nos. (as per requirement) boiled eggs, cut into halves
2) ½ tsp turmeric powder
3) 1 tsp red chili powder
4) 1 tsp jeera
5) 1 tsp salt
6) 2 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
7) 2 tbsp oil
