Follow the simple steps below to properly cook chickpeas👇🏻:
1. Soak chickpeas for at least 12 hours prior to cooking. Place them in a bowl and cover with a large amount of cold water as chickpeas will expand to over double their size.
2. Drain water and rinse the beans before cooking.
3. Place chickpeas into a large pot and cover with a large amount of fresh water. Bring chickpeas to boil, reduce to a slow simmer, and cook until the beans are tender. It takes approximately 1 1/2 hours. Do not add salt to the water, but feel free to add smashed garlic cloves, black pepper, bay leaves🌿 or lemon juice 🍋for flavouring.

1 1/2 cups boiled chickpeas
200 gr champignons
1 onion of meduim size
1 carrot (100 gr)
red pepper to taste
salt to taste
1 tbsp soy sauce (optional)

1 1/2 cups boiled chickpeas
300 gr pumpkin (after seeds are removed, peeled and choped into cubes)
1 onion of meduim size
20 gr fresh spinach
2 tbsps lemon/lime juice
1 tbsp refined olive oil
1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil (for salad dressing)
1 tsp oregano
1/3 tsp turmeric
1/3 tsp red pepper
salt to taste

1 avocado
1 1/2 cups boiled chickpeas, cooled
20 gr fresh spinach
1 tbsp lemon/lime juice
1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
black ground pepper to taste
salt to taste
garlic salt to taste
