Awesome drummer. And you're so quick to get it sound right as well ! Thanks man for the vid, really appreciate it

Ted Moody Cheers bro! Much appreciated. It sure makes the job a lot easier when the drums are hit this consistently. Hence the lack of compression on a lot of the individual elements as it wasn’t needed. Some drummers can prove dynamically challenging to keep the kick and snare at the forefront. That’s when heavy automation, compression and samples come in to dig you out the shit! Cheers!

This was really really helpful! My drums are now sounding better than anything I've ever worked on (even though I couldn't follow every tweak you made). Thanks again! Also love the EZdrummer2 library you made :)

Man I was on the eadge of my seat you man handled bitch slapped stuff into shape with the Pro Q, I guess it's not always about being precious with the audio and actively listening for phase discrepancy and shifts. It came out phenomenal, just what the genre asks for.

Master, one question from México. For recording vocals like idk hmmm All Time Low type... With a SM7B, you will record very close to the mic like doing proximity effect or 6-9 inches away.? Thank you.

I have a 20 yr old drum track in a CD. We recorded in a studio. Everything is put together alrrady. The issue is it is already mixed and i need to fix kick and drums here and there (tone and volume). What software can I use for this? The best I have is sound forge 10. Help!

Ты можешь загнать свою аудио дорожку барабанов в superior drummer 3, и воспользовавшись встроенными в нем тригерами, создать копии своих живых барабанов в миди. И отдельно микшировать все, что хочешь. Только так, по другому не получится.

Boy, you over complicated this. A lot of this post production could have been dodged by microphone placement and better sounding instruments. So moon gel, tape, a little bit of distancing goes a long ways. It is completely better to have more microphone samples than not enough but I honestly feel like you over killed the post production. That will not sound anything like the band performing live. Unless you are their sound engineer and attending every one of their performances then you could save the settings PAF and load them in the board at performance
