There are transaction costs for cards and with digital payments, money can be tracked. With Cash all that happens is black money transactions - that is why rich people like him don't like UPI because they can't deposit the cash in banks to pay via UPI. Earlier they used to easily pay their black money via cash and convert it into white money.

For me the failure of modi gov is 1). the education system’s shortcoming is not been addressed properly and public schools hasn’t not improved in last 30 years. 2). Pollution 3). Lack of focus on MSMEs and youth employment. Gov should more focus on manufacturing. Reforms have been slow and it needs to be implemented fast but unlike some idiots politicians which are trying to oppose the reforms for political gains. I just how farms law has been pulled back and frankly speaking how much anyone will try to save agriculture it not gonna survive for long because money flow from inefficient to efficient. Agriculture has been biggest lagger to the economy it needs the big reforms and changes we need to monetise but it end government will lose vote if they will try.
