We cook in the North too. It's sad she couldn't even say what soups Americans eat, even people who don't cook that much still make crockpot meals or easy to make dishes. Almost all Americans eat chili, a variety of casseroles, roasts, pasta, BBQ, nachos or fondue, we grill and fry chicken. My daughter just started Kindergarten and didn't know that corn came in a can until she had school lunch, she thought vegetables were either fresh or frozen. This is a Rayne, Gino, a small portion of Americans problem.

As a disabled woman i can tell you need to have a lot of trust in your partner. You have to trust them to feed you and help you when you're at your lowest, you have to know they wouldn't ever walk off and leave you stranded and you have to trust that they love you enough to be able to put your needs before theirs even if they are angry. Its not an excuse to get away with bad behaviour but when im in my wheelchair if my husband and I had an argument i need to know he's going to keep me safe. I could see her deliberately ignoring him, refusing to cook for him, taking him out and leaving him stranded just many different ways she would cause him harm. I think I heard somewhere that they'd parted ways a year or so before the show, and Rayne managed to get on and then convinced Chidi to participate. So it makes sense that the whole narrative was going to end in them breaking up and the sudden conversion to devout Christian would allay any questions as to why they weren't sharing rooms or being intimate. The messages she shows lack time stamps so we don't know when they were written it's plausible they were from a time when they were romantically involved. However one thing is true, Rayne is as mad as a hatter. Her anger and delusion is real, or we've just found an actress who could go toe to toe with Meryl Streep.
