For you guys to come to this specific video and comment to STILL try to take that away from us makes you three the racist. Let us enjoy our success. Let us be proud to be black AND successful something that not too long ago wasn’t possible. Stop trying to put us under the same umbrella of hate your kind has had for us for centuries. We don’t hate or care about other races, go forth and seek your own success, but don’t let that stop us from loving eachother. Also blame your ancestors for the fact that saying your white and successful carries the stigma it does if not being able to say it bothers you so much, NOT us.

I love your comment! I also think it is a sign of respect to speak( or at least try) the language of the country that you are moving to. I also saw separation in Bali if not worse, downright disrespect for the Balinese! It was heartbreaking..

You are so right about this! Yeah. With the American Dollar worth more in other areas of the world, it can really go far there vs. not going as far in america. Let's take healthcare for example. A medical procedure for thousands or tens of thousands of dollars here, can cost roughly less than $70 to maybe a couple hundred at most in other parts of the world. Medical tourism is a popular thing. :) Check out how far your dollar can go and how you can be a benefit to others with what you have and investing in yourself and in others/ business is ALWAYS good for ANY country. Many Indonesians have the same skin color as you..... just saying. Glad you actually mentioned Balinese people in the last 2 minutes of your video, I fully understand that it is a give and take situation, and that the local people also profit off foreigners living there, it's just that I have seen so many occasions where foreigners, whether tourists or expats, feel the urge to isolate themselves and treat locals as "the help". Please encourage your followers and potential clients to mingle, learn, and be kind to the native people.

It goes both ways. You dont realize how you make look from a foreigners point of view. Being American in the US, and having soooooooo many cultures and living among people speaking different languages, I'm sure they may feel out of place. Not knowing the language and how to navigate. It can be scary. Not everyone is as welcoming as they believe to be.
@natblabla14 жыл бұрын
@@bjosh02 Moving to a foreign country one should always make an effort to learn at least essential parts of the language and customs, preferably learning from and with local people. If the only reason to move is economical, meaning trying to live like royalty on the cheap, not respecting the people you are profiting off, I am not surprised that some are not very welcoming. Yes, different cultures, language, food, etc. can be scary, of course... it is the way we overcome those fears that may make us better persons, and make people accept and possibly even like us.

Heavy on the neighbors that look like me! I’m so proud of you sis. I can’t wait for my time and it’s almost here 🤞🏾

@SP Glaze Stewart I think she’s preferring to the beginning of the video of when the woman said she’s looking for friends (inviting us the viewers) and both of them are black. Not that people there look like her..

What's wrong with having friends of all races? I don't care what color my friends are.

Just found your channel! I can't tell you how great it is to know that BW can move there and be safe and happy:) Please do more break down of expenses, life and getting to know the people and the culture. It's so amazing to know that you don't have to have a Lot of money to live a really good life there. Was thinking Mexico but now, after seeing you, I am going to start preparing to come there. I want to live near the water and like you, I enjoy living on my own. I am a 'mature' woman, no business and a small income but it sounds absolutely perfect. Also, please do a video on how to get and receive mail and packages.

Wow, you claimed your dream and made it happen! Very impressive! I spent 3 months there last fall and planned on flying back for at least a year this March. Unfortunately, I am still in Los Angeles. I cannot wait until travel opens back up and I can get out of here and back to paradise. So happy you made the move when you did. Loving the content. Keep the videos coming. 🙏

Your neighbor here. Twenty minutes outside of LA and I want to get out of the US permanently. I was in Thailand and Cambodia last November and didn’t want to come back. But Indonesia is one country on my list that I want to get to.

I am so happy I stumbled upon your videos while researching how to move to Bali shortly after college graduation. I want to move around August or September. I need all the advice I can get. I’m nervous because I’ll be all alone but I want to meet people like me and the natives that just love life and want to live more freely and be surrounded by nature:)

I moved out of the US in 2015. Since 2 weeks ago, I've been considering moving to Indonesia and suddenly see this video. Indonesians are some of the nicest people I've ever met in my life. It's an easy choice. Thanks for the info.
