Finally, I understand that you can create your own panel and place it loose but then it doesn’t show up in the cabinet schedule also the whole point of this program is that certain aspects are automated to reduce time Spent designing. Even if adding scribe width the panels in the cabinet schedule is too complicated at the very least fillers and panels should come flush to the doors.

Correction, you can convert any panel/ poly line solid to a library symbol and then it will show up in the cabinet schedule.

Also, in reality the panels need to be wider than what is shown in the renders. So in the cabinet schedule if you had an upper cabinet panel that was 12 inches wide, the reality is that it should be 13 inches wide with the style that goes to the wall being an inch wider so they can be cut and scribed to the wall. This needs to happen for all panels that go to the wall. whether it’s a tall panel That encloses a refrigerator,base cabinets or upper cabinets , they all need need to have extra with so that they can be cut in scribed to the wall, unless you want to use scribe molding which is typically reserved for low-end track homes and manufactured homes.

The panels need to come out flush to the doors. Fillers also should be flush with the doors.that’s how Any contemporary kitchen is put together these days. the kitchen turned out beautiful but this really needs to be corrected in the software.

Hi Jason. With Chief Architect software you can edit the cabinet shelf spacing and styles within the cabinet itself. You can also customize cabinets to include closet accessories, lazy susans, cabinet door mounted storage solutions, pantry accessories, and more. Does this answer your question?
