Gotta love this! You should finish the holy trinity from Wintersun live rehersals at Sonic pump studios - "Land of snow and sorrow". You wont be sorry.... Great reaction!

I think the word you need for the repeated melody in the intro is a motif. Jari (Yari) has used several of them masterfully throughout this song. It's one of my favourites of Wintersun and I really enjoyed seeing how much you were into it.

For me its impossible to settle on one track. BUT, every so often I consider this to be the greatest track I have ever heard or seen performed. The whole band is phenomenal and Jari's vocals are just pure emotion.

Love your reaction man!! 😁. I'm Wintersun fan and i hope you continue this journey and react to "Wintersun - Awaken from the dark slumber" which is my personal favourite :)

Great reaction dude, thank you! An incredible song and performance, Wintersun are unreal at times. I would suggest land of snow and sorrow next. It’s the remaining song of the session. Slower and a bit shorter than the previous 2, but again its amazing. 😃🤘🏻 love your work dude, subscribed.

It seems like a lot of people react to Sons Of Winter And Stars and then Time and Land Of Snow And Sorrow gets lost in the shuffle. Which is a shame because it’s an awesome song

So how familiar are you with Children of Bodom? Because if you're not, I really envy you for having an entire legendary treasure trove of Finnish melodeath to discover.

Great reaction again. Love your enthusiasm. Always fun to watch people who truly enjoy music. I'm not that familiar with Wintersun and I don't usually like very screamy/raspy vocals. But Wintersun is starting to change my mind about that.

That's how good music effects. You fall into the music and time disappears around you and when the song ends you want to fall again.

Jari is the male counterpart of Floor Jansen. Both sing so precisely to the point. Now imagine that Nightwish and Wintersun would make an album together.

Hi Chief. I knew you would really dig this track dude. Absolutely brilliant ...the intro sounds simple but they way it builds into a crescendo before the vocals just makes me smile. Everytime I hear the song it's multiple chills time...as you say just before the guitar solo ... which is awesome... Jari's vocals are just pure emotion...even his screams bring a tear to the eye...then the actual chorus. What more can you say? The band are absolutely brilliant and nailed it yet again. No wonder Kai had a problem with perspiration 😆. Lots of cracking tracks to check out ..but I'm thinking Land of Snow and Sorrow... it's off the same album. There is the live rehearsal again from Sonic Studios. Looking forward to your next reaction dude. Take care. Stay safe. Peace and love my friend from Liverpool UK 👍✌️🤘☮️

You might want to listen to older Wintersun like Winter Madness which has awesome solo or a bit more emotional stuff like Loneliness (Winter).. and if you want to listen to something else that's pure awesomeness check out Be'lakor - Countless Skies

I hear two different harmonies by the guitars...not the same but perfectly blended...thats impressive and pleasant. This is my 1st listen to this band... I'm not into the shouty vocal sound, but it may grow on me. But...Kai Hahto on drums...holy crap, I really feel like he is the best in the business! I'm familiar w him cuz last week I watched hours of his clinics and drum cam mics. Mind blowing. And he's not even showing off...he's just doing his job. And what a job! I do gotta ask tho... why the mask if you're in your own home, or in a room alone? I am ALL about safety...I'm just curious...? Your reaction observations are thoughtful and smart. Thank you!

Jari makes maybe 200 backtracks to a number like this, and when he started, computers were not strong enough to play all these tracks without freesing. So it has been a six to eightt years of waiting for digital power to play as he wanted it 🤗🤗

Hey Chief I did say "THIS IS NOT ORDINARY METAL" there's not another band like them imo, the 3.5 minute intro is almost a song on it's own, great reaction bro, now try this Swedish band led by Tommy Johansson from SABATON🤘 ... I'm also interested in knowing if that's some real instrument that makes the high pitched sounds because it sounds a bit like high pitched harpsichord but it doesn't quite have the timbral quality of that or a harp.. and it's not quite bell-like like celeste.. so my guess is that it's a synth but I might be wrong. Also, install adblock my man ;)
