I think the difference in “i will travel far beyond the path of reason”, sung somberly and beautiful is such a beautiful thing when compared to the ending screams of “i have traveled far beyond the path of reason”, just showing how angry and how much pent up anger he has. When I finally got to see them live this year I had an out of body reaction to this song, all of a sudden during the part (you know the one) I realized tears were streaming down my face and I did even know I was crying or that I was going to. That song has always been incredible but after seeing it live, I have not been able to listen to it the same since. I know I was holding shit in that just came out without me realizing when I was seeing it live. I have not had this connection to music in so long. The way they write their lyrics is unmatched.

the entire beginning with the 'Eden' sounds gets me so emotional for some reason. And when he starts singing its like the gates of heaven are opening and you're standing there in the garden and he is just singing to you from a bright light. and then he goes into the juicy speak-singing and its so groovy. this song is so perfect.
