@@AkairuNoAmemy favourite callback out of all of them is Euclid calling back to TNDNBTG I ugly cried the first time hearing the way Vessel sung "The whites of your eyes, turn black into lowlight[...]". And when I listened to Euclid for the first time, the culmination of feelings from every album together signed off at the end of the song by the callback make me breakdown mentally but in such a good way. To me Sleep Token is healing. Their three albums are a process of all stages of grief in a broken relationship. Never has any band been able to encapsulate the feeling I have for being betrayed better than them and I am ever so grateful for it. I could sit down and talk about each individual song for hours. Unfortunately I don't have friends that are that much into Sleep Token so I can't really do that 😂😂

I genuinely do believe this band is the most unique and talented band in the history of all music to have ever been written so far and i don't say that lightly. These unbelievably creative and (what I believe to be divinely inspired) ranger and blend of genres, notes, tones, techniques, styles, ect. surpass anything i ever even thought would have been possible... I can't even find the words except that they come out of an entirely different state of consciousness that speaks to the uniqueness and eccentricity of each individual through their own life experience. They have even surpassed tool for me by exponential margins who were the only band who could even have come close or compared and thas not something I ever thought I'd be able to say or imagine would be possible.

Another thing I do very much like with the first bit of lyrics you mentioned is how when you're swimming, if you have air in your lungs, you will naturally float, but if not, you sink. I'm the exact same as you guys, I originally heard Will's covers of Hypnosis and Chokehold and I wasnt a fan of the originals at all, but then I heard The Summoning which hooked me instantly, I went back and listened to those couple of songs afterwards and now I'm obsessed with their whole discography 😂 but I highly recommend Ascensionism, I feel like you'd both appreciate that one in particular!

I agree with Eric that they just didn’t hit that spot in my brain but after a few days I came back and now I’m hooked. It’s well worth looking into their story. Vessel being visited by the deity sleep and the songs are worship from vessel to Sleep

Great reaction. NO ONE can touch his lyricism. Ascensionism next-it’s the best of the best Also, think you missed the reprisal of Chokehold at the end, right before the djent outro

Oddly, i ( Eric) didn't notice it until i watched another reaction channel right after 🤦♂️ he blended it so well you can miss it if you don't pay attention.

@@Rykerroad its soooo good. I find myself going back to that specific part of the song. I wish they wouldve used that specific verison of how he was singing it

This song, as far as I know, is like an illustration of all the songs on that album. That's why there were similarities and so many different parts.

I WISH I could listen to the album for the first time again. It's so magical and the closest we can come to reliving it is seeing others experience it for the first time so thank you for the video and the reactions!! Kyle was definitely me lol

The lyricism is so beautiful. The simplicity doesn’t work against them, it draws you in further, joining the emotional journey.

Ive watched this so so so often i decided to do the “skip” test and if you skip and listen to each instance between the 10 seconds it skips you hear “uh, ok, yeah” and that just sums up the sleep token experience 😂

I've been on the Fence, I've heard this rack Thrice, and I already was hooked on Chokehold. This redaction made me listen Deeper, and I'm a Rich Miner. Golden Thanks.

This is the best reaction to any sleep token song that Iv seen (and that's a lot) watching the dude literally fall in love with a band that's brought me so much over the past 4 years. Iv had every reaction he has on his face in this 1 video - subbed 🤙🏼

I love how they have the lyrics from choke hold “when we were made, I know it was no accident” after the last chorus *chefs kiss*

So what Kyle said in relation to listening to some music and letting it sort of take you or take you over... I forgot how he put it. But there is some music that when you listen to it utterly changes your brain chemistry. It takes you from a depressive state into euphoria. There's music that takes you from you for you into a calm and peaceful place. What's weird about sleep token is that it seems to be able to do that with every single song in a certain way. The album's a roller coaster of emotion. It's deep. It resonates with lots of people surprisingly enough that you have people that listen to one song, thinking they're never going to give it a chance, and they fall in love with it. But this is music as a whole. Music can take you places. Often time those places are wonderful. Sometimes those places can be dark. It's odd that sleep token can kind of do both at the same time. All I know is is this, putting my headphones on and listening to the album is a joy and a pleasure.

These songs had hidden callbacks to other songs too. Like this one says there was no accident which was in chokehold

I've been dissecting this song and I'm like 2 pages in and I've gotten through maybe 3-4 lines. To be fair I'm long winded but Jesus it's a lot. They tie a lot of lore back to old English folklore
