Used to listen to Nick Wright on the radio at my old job 15yrs ago while he was in KC on 610AM. KC is small market flyover country. Prior to Mahomes they were rarely talked about nationally. Nick is my age, he's born n raised KC Chiefs fan just like me, he's witnessed the epic postseason heartbreakers in 90s and 00s. This is our time and love that he's going to bat nationally for the boys in red n yellow.

Brou is 100% right. Teams consider the Chiefs as their Super Bowl (every game this year has been this for the Ravens, Bengals, and Falcons). They panic, go for it on every 4th down, don’t kick FGs and commit bad penalties (Cincy DPI) when they otherwise might not have - all because they press soooooooo hard to beat the Champs.

We tried to pound the ball in with Carson Steele multiple times from very little distance and got absolutely stonewalled by your defense. Yes, your running back room is better but only a couple of plays later you only had to pick up a couple of inches and couldn't do it. Why are you automatically assuming that's a touchdown? Anything can happen even at that distance.

The truth is that the Chiefs should have been called for pass interference in the endzone and the falcons should have had the ball 1st goal at the 1 yard line.. if the falcons score a touchdown there it changes the complexity of the game.. there is no guarantee that mahomes would have drove it down the field and score either cause the falcons defense had stepped up in the 4th quater.. the falcons got robbed, plain and simple

People can hate KC all they want just like they hated the Patriots for the "refs" but the more l've looked into the more I realized the Patriots & Chiefs are just smarter. Belichick revealed they studied each and every referee crew down to the littlest of details in the offseasons and every game week studied which ever crew they have cause they know and understand every crew has different tendencies and habits so they know what they can and can not get away with each game while every other opponent expects every crew to ref the same and be consistent!! That crew last night is bottom of the league calling DPI in the end zone so the KC defender knew he had a good probability of getting away with it. It's not rigged, Patriots & Chiefs are just smarter more prepared and disciplined over every aspect of the game which includes knowing each and every officiating crews habits and tendencies to the littlest of details!! It amazes me none of you'll have figured out the riddle 🤷‍♂️

Mmmm probably not though. Because more often than not that isn’t what happens. The Falcons defense “stepped up” because the Chiefs went into their basic offense and didn’t use their select list of plays they only go to in case of emergency. It’s a lot easier to play defense when both sides know you’re going to run the ball.

Belichick revealed they studied each and every referee crew down to the littlest of details in the offseasons and every game week studied which ever crew they have cause they know and understand every crew has different tendencies and habits so they know what they can and can not get away with each game while every other opponent expects every crew to ref the same and be consistent!! That crew last night is bottom of the league calling DPI in the end zone so the KC defender knew he had a good probability of getting away with it. It's not rigged, Patriots & Chiefs are just smarter more prepared and disciplined over every aspect of the game which includes knowing each and every officiating crews habits and tendencies to the littlest of details!!
